  • HOOPS FOR HEART (5th and 6th grade)

The Physical Education Department will be hosting their annual Hoops for Heart event on Tuesday, February 14th and Wednesday, February 15th.  All 5th and 6th grade students will be participating in this event during their physical education class.  Students will be placed on a college basketball team and will be expected to wear their team colors on the day of the event.  Students will be given an envelope during the week of January 23rd and are encouraged to raise money in person OR online for the American Heart Association.  Last year our students raised over $10,000 which we are hoping to exceed this year.  Envelopes are due back on the day of the event and permission slips DO NOT need to be returned.  Students who raise at least $50 will receive a Hoops for Heart t-shirt.  Additional prizes will be given to the top fundraisers in each grade!
